Our Ara Ako wānanga started last week with a hiss and a roar, and how lucky are we to be working with three tutors from our local rohe.

On Rāapa 13 o Whirirangi-ā-rangi we had Manu Kōrero at kura. Every class in the kura participated and the Reo was really flowing. Ka mau te wehi everyone. Read more.
Here at Te Kura o Matapihi we have STEAM Akomanga.
STEAM = Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths. Our focus is "learning by doing" and our mahi is an extension of the learning in our classroom programmes.
